In the collaboration between Loushy Art & Projects and Edna Segev, Segev invents new moves for the classic mosaic work that characterizes her. Unlike previous mosaic works she did, in the current project she plays with stones and "breaks the rules" offering a personal point of view to a known practice. Using new moves to the stones game, she organizes a visual reality that reflects her worldview. Segev places the stones in a planned sequence, changes the conventions of the expected order, and successfully picks up all the “knucklebones”. For her, "breaking the rules" is not a metaphor that means playing out, but more like as the Kabbalistic view, it is an opportunity to vision one entire situation that holds qualities from different degrees. picture, she marks a personal path of thought, along which she makes her art. Segev intensely rebuilds, restores and even reforms new images, using a wide range of colors, quantities, and different standards, congestion and weights. The core of the project is Segev's route recalculation, which enable her to examine the position she takes regarding the "road” stones, on the axis of life; helping her in assessing their meaning. She lays down the stones, accepts and alternately rejects the result of her play, keeping in mind to treat even the obvious with seriousness combined with humor.
